OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Our story began in 2000 when we opened our first restaurant in New Oxford Street, London. Back then we were called Jonathan’s. Since then, we’ve become one of the most well-known and most loved Italian dining restaurants on the high street. Today we have 150 restaurants with a team of over 2,500 people – creating special moments for our customers, right across the UK. We’re all about bringing people together to enjoy delicious Italian classics, in beautiful settings – whatever the occasion.

We're proud to have won awards in 2021 for Fair Employment at the Youth Friendly Employer Awards, the International Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, and the "Best Pizza Restaurant - Chain" category at the PAPA Industry Awards. We also received our London Health Workplace Award Foundation Level accreditation.

In addition, we were also shortlisted for Best Mental Health Strategy at the Employee Benefits Awards, and finalist for the National Recycling Awards 2021.

PREZZO IN THE COMMUNITY

Charity begins at Christmas!

In 2021, Prezzo partnered with Feeding Britain, a leading charity that helps provide meals to vulnerable people and families on low income, to provide an additional 15,000 meals and create special moments for everyone this Christmas.

You can still show your support by visiting Feeding Britain Donations to donate and help Feeding Britain and Prezzo provide more meals for vulnerable people in the UK - all from as little as £2!

Celebrate a HERO

Prezzo asked customers to nominate a special person that has made an impact in their local communities for a chance to be celebrated at Prezzo with their family and friends. One such hero that Prezzo has celebrated is Mandy Chambers.

Mandy Chambers, from Chesterfield, has led the ‘Batch Cook’ programme in Derbyshire which distributed more than 160,000 cooked meals to people in need during the pandemic. She’s been nominated as a local community hero by Feeding Britain, for her hard work and dedication over the past 18 months. Her achievements were celebrated with her family and friends at Prezzo Islington.
